CHARITY ARMBARS & ALES TO BENEFIT SEAN COLEMAN
On Sunday, May 12, Sean was hit by another driver and was rushed to Gwinnett Medical with a dislocated shoulder, several deep lacerations (all over), a broken elbow, messed up knee, cut abdominal muscle, colon damage, and issues with both his small and large intestines. He's undergone pretty extensive surgery on his abdomen, is all stitched and braced up and is now recovering. Due to the accident, he’ll be out of work for months as a coach at SBG Buford.
CHARITY ARMBARS & ALES TO BENEFIT KRISSA TIMBS
On May 24, Krissa was rushed to the ER as a result of abdominal pain due to a partial blockage in her intestines. This blockage was partially caused by a car accident more than 10 years ago where she was hit from behind and into oncoming traffic. The accident broke several bones and caused her intestines to rupture. The doctors performed surgery to repair her intestines which in the end meant there is now a significant amount of scar tissue build up. After being released, she was rushed back to the hospital on May 31 and had surgery on June 2. Due to surgery, the road to recovery will now be longer for Krissa.
We will also have many silent auction items available such as cageside NFC fight tickets, gym memberships, gi's, rash guards, massages, private training by some of Atlanta's best BJJ instructors, Pontoon Brewing gift card, etc.
If you'd like to donate items for the auction or have questions you can contact David Oblas (NFC), Phillipe Gentry (SBG Buford and Sean's employer) or Stephen Upchurch (Pontoon Brewing).
